In four weeks, you are going to explore the key concepts of learning experience design. Each week has a specific theme, and you are going to apply what you have learned straight away in weekly assignments.

There are online resources available for you to learn from. We use online support to offer these resources and structure your learning journey.

This is not a standard online course, though, it is the people that make the difference.

You receive personal feedback on your assignments from your trainer, or peer feedback from the other participants. We assess your work and keep track of your progress to make sure you get the most out of this course.

Once a week, there will be a live webinar, and this is a great opportunity to interact with the trainers and your fellow participants. Your input will be used for these webinars, where we discuss your assignments and the questions you might have.

During this course, you will use the Learning Experience Canvas. I developed this tool several years ago to design better learning experiences, and today, thousands of people around the world use it. Now you can put your design skills to thetest using the Learning Experience Canvas yourself.

How much time will I have to put in?

How much time you put in is really up to you. If you are quick and work efficiently, you can be done in a couple of hours a week. If you have more time on your hands, you can definitely get more out of this course. There is only one way to become a learning experience designer, and that is by applying learning experience design, and this course is designed with that in mind.

Who else is participating besides me?

You are part of an international group of participants with different backgrounds. I have seen how diversity enhances the overall learning experience. It is so refreshing to explore different perspectives as we learn from and with each other.

Do I get a certificate?

As mentioned before, we keep track of your progress and assess your work. If you succeed in completing the course and your work is at a satisfactory level, you will receive a certificate of completion.
